Tailored for Sprint cars, the Pro-Mag 12LT is nearly 30% lighter than its predecessor, the original Pro-Mag, while retaining its exceptional power output. The streamlined housing is positioned one inch lower to enhance clearance for fuel injection, and it incorporates a band clamp mount for simplified timing adjustments.
MSD has developed a dedicated cap and rotor exclusively for the 12LT series. The cap, crafted through injection molding with DuPont Rynite material, boasts high dielectric properties and exceptional strength. The rotor’s innovative design securely fastens to the shaft using a retaining bolt assembly and is also molded from Rynite.
Please note: A 12LT Generator cannot be upgraded to a 20 Amp Pro-Mag.
