The base intake manifold of the LS3/L92 Lo-Ram is meticulously designed with a low profile, facilitating the incorporation of a plenum-mounted air-to-water intercooler. This design caters specifically to forced induction (supercharged or turbocharged) engine applications, optimizing performance in the 7000-8000 rpm peak power range.
Tailored for GM LS Gen III and IV engines equipped with LS3/L92 cylinder heads, these intake manifolds are compatible with both OE and aftermarket cylinder heads. Engineered for forced induction scenarios, the LS3 Lo-Ram intake manifold accommodates the 105 mm throttle body, such as part number 112-581 or equivalent models. The base intake manifold, with its low height, is crafted to facilitate the packaging of a plenum-mounted air-to-water intercooler.
Various manifold configurations, including single and dual injector options, are available. The LS3 Lo-Ram is offered in both as-cast satin and black power-coat finishes. High-volume fuel rails, suitable for eight and sixteen injector setups, come with mounting hardware featuring 3/4-16 O-ring ports (8 AN). Additionally, the design allows for dual-injector, separate-passage fuel rails with dual-fuel capability, enhancing versatility for different engine setups.
