Description
Aeromotive offers an array of Pump Assemblies to cater to the 2011+ Mustang (S197 & S550), including Dual 340lph, Single 450lph, Dual 450lph, and Triple 450lph configurations.
These units are meticulously designed to be direct drop-in replacements for OEM tanks, requiring no drilling or fabrication work. However, successful installation mandates the addition of a high-flow filter and bypass regulator with a return line. For optimal performance and reliability, it’s recommended to employ AN-08 or larger PTFE braided fuel lines for both the supply and return lines.
The system thoughtfully accommodates the use of both OEM sending units, conveniently situated on either side of the tank. The pump assembly includes a bracket for seamless attachment of the OEM sending unit, although you must integrate quick disconnect electrical connectors for the OEM sending unit wires. Importantly, the siphon pickup on the driver’s side of the tank remains undisturbed.
Aeromotive’s innovative jet siphon works in conjunction with the OEM jet siphon pickup, retaining all internal tank hoses. The internal jet siphon hose swiftly connects to Aeromotive’s jet siphon, facilitating the efficient transfer of fuel to the pump side of the tank. The outlet cap features -08 ORB outlet ports for the Main Outlet, Auxiliary Port, and Return Port.
Moreover, this system upholds all OEM tank venting, preserving the original functionality of the tank. Aeromotive offers several system variations, including Single 450, Dual 450, Triple 450, and Dual 340, catering to a substantial horsepower range, spanning from 700 fwhp for forced induction/fuel-injected applications to an impressive 2,300 fwhp.
