The K&N 57-1573 Air Intake System is designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing on select Jeep Wrangler models. Engineered for extreme off-road conditions, this intake system dramatically reduces air intake restriction, allowing your engine to take in more air than the stock setup, resulting in more usable power and acceleration across the RPM range. While the included snorkel kit doesn’t increase the manufacturer’s recommended water fording limit, it ensures a constant supply of cleaner air when navigating through dusty environments. Fresh air flows through the low-restriction snorkel tubing into a roto-molded air box containing a K&N High-Flow Air Filterâ„¢. An aerodynamically engineered intake tube smooths and straightens airflow into the throttle body for a guaranteed power gain, while still accommodating the stock air temperature sensor and vent hose. The oversized, conical air filter can last up to 100,000 miles before needing service, depending on driving conditions. Installation is straightforward, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points.
