The 24697 is designed to counteract the rotational forces of the rear axle. By using a Right-Hand thread on the appropriate side of the car, the rotation of the axle actually works to keep the nut tight rather than backing it off. CNC-machined for a perfect fit, this nut provides the clamping force needed to keep your hubs and spacers indexed under heavy acceleration and jarring track conditions.
