Underneath, easy access to the adjustable mechanical advance assembly allows for effortless adjustments. Engineered for accuracy and robustness, the advance assembly boasts TIG-welded weight pins, nylon pads ensuring smooth weight movement, and a QPQ coating for friction reduction.
A hardened, polished steel shaft supports the advance assembly, with two ball bearing guides ensuring exceptional stability. Precision paddles of a zinc-plated reluctor pass by a maintenance-free magnetic pickup, generating a trigger signal that prompts the MSD to initiate ignition.
Various springs and stop bushings are supplied, enabling you to fine-tune an advance curve tailored to your specific application. Features:
