To counter this, Can-Am includes a large fan to help draw air through. However, for those pushing their X3 to the limits, the Agency Power intercooler upgrade provides a critical improvement.

Engineered as a direct replacement for the factory intercooler, this upgrade utilizes the OEM fan and intercooler duct cover. It’s also compatible with the factory intercooler hoses or the Agency Power blow-off valve hose. Featuring larger end tanks and a bar and plate core that is 1.50 inches thicker than stock, this intercooler significantly enhances cooling capacity.

In rigorous back-to-back testing against the stock intercooler, the Agency Power intercooler demonstrated a notable performance boost. After conducting five consecutive full pulls on a modified Can-Am X3 and logging charge air temperatures on the sixth run, the Agency Power intercooler spiked only to 124°F, compared to nearly 130°F with the OEM intercooler—a nearly 5% improvement in temperature reduction. Additionally, the upgraded intercooler allowed for increased boost pressures without triggering knock sensors, enabling maximum performance for both 91 and 100 octane tunes.

Besides being a direct replacement for the Can-Am X3 DS and RS, this intercooler can also be used on the 120HP Turbo with factory Can-Am turbo hoses and the Vivid Racing Upgraded Fan Kit.
