The MPI F142B Model is engineered for the most challenging long-distance off-road races, such as Dakar and Baja, delivering unparalleled performance and safety. Designed with rigorous testing in mind, this steering wheel is built to withstand the toughest conditions while offering superior control and durability.

Safety is a cornerstone of the MPI F142B design. The inner structure is meticulously engineered to deform under high-impact scenarios, effectively absorbing forces and reducing the impact on the driver’s upper body. This advanced design provides a significant safety advantage. Additionally, the inner foam injection is developed to offer the highest vibration absorption rate in the industry. The wheel features a special oval-shaped grip with extreme thumb inserts, ensuring a natural and comfortable hold.

The steering wheel’s aluminum structure is a unibody design without a horn button, enhancing rigidity and durability. Reinforced around the two button holes, the wheel is built to endure the rigors of off-road use. PRO-wiring is performed by hand using premium materials, including two APEM IP67 waterproof buttons with tactile feedback and RAYCHEM shrink boots.

The MPI F142B Model is available with two distinct covering materials, both featuring the MPI Orange™ marker. The suede covering, with its parallel MPI Orange™ hand-stitched finish, offers a high-grip feel, reducing the effort needed to hold the wheel and providing an enhanced driver connection. This material is ideal for track and tuning applications. The Pixel (PX) covering, with its MPI Orange™ crossed stitching, is designed for extreme weather conditions and is washable, making it perfect for outdoor and off-road use.

Each MPI F142B steering wheel is individually serial numbered for traceability and embodies MPI’s commitment to quality and attention to detail.
