Unlike some designs that claim superiority by focusing only on high RPM, their exhaust brake offers consistent performance throughout the entire RPM range. The rugged cast-iron housings, available for Dodge, Ford, Chevy, and motor home applications, incorporate BD’s exclusive alumibronze bushing, piston ring-seals, and a stainless steel butterfly shaft. These components have demonstrated exceptional durability in the harsh, high-heat conditions of the exhaust environment.

BD’s butterfly valve and rotating shaft are crafted from stainless steel to resist corrosion, ensuring longevity and reliability. The exhaust brake kit includes all mounting hardware made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and an air compressor is included in most kits for newer pickup trucks.
